  • I'm having an issue (sorry to necrocomment) and I'm wondering if you can help. I need to figure out the distance between the top of a character and the line where the "overline" is drawn. Basically, I need the very first character to butt up against the top of the box (similar to what happens in a text box in Photoshop). In WPF, as the font size increases, so does the distance of the characters from the top of the box, and since I'm trying to get things to align right, this is causing problems.

I'm trying to discern the offset so that I can correct it automatically. Right now, my users have to "nudge" the box until it looks right, which isn't a good solution for them.

Any hints where I might look would be fantastic! Thanks!
